I just finished my first build, imbel on imbel. I used a Falcon arms HTS and TPR spring set. after sanding the pivot hole on the sear with 200 and polishing with 400 and 600 grip paper(there was a nasty seam in there), polishing point of engagement on the hammer and sear, and installing the springs my trigger pull is 4.49 lbs. I am quite impressed with this set up and highly recommend it.

Just installed this, took about 20 mins for both. Range tomorrow, but so far it is a huge improvement!

The instructions on this thread were awesome, thanks!!

Just put this in in about a half hour. Big difference in trigger feel. Much less "gritty" than the trigger on my new fal. Lighter too.

So far best upgrade for 15$ ever.

Just wanted to add my thanks for this post.

After reading the post I ordered the spring set.
I installed it easily using this step by step guide.
I was able to make a tooth pick work as a slave pin.

I don't have a trigger gauage to know how much the trigger has improved but it certainly feels better.
Armed with this guide I might even dis-assemble again and try polishing the mating surfaces.

Many thanks, from someone who has suffered a factory trigger for 10 years!

After reading this post I also ordered and installed a kit. Big improvement! Thanks for posting this.

My original installation is still ticking-along without any issues at all.

Glad y'all are having good results too.

Falcon HTS

I had the Falcon HTS installed and then also got a Bill Springfield Trigger job on top of it. ($39)

Both of these improvements are now a very sweet trigger!

LOL! I was having the same problem of a rattling trigger guard. What an awesome fix Sure beats JB Weld for the ease and cleanliness factors.

Thanks!
