So I did the Caldwell ballistics calculator with proper scope off set and the ballistics coefficient for PMC .50 bmg. I was using a 200 yard zero. My holds were considerably less than what the chart suggested. It was kinda weird as they were in whole mil increments.🤷‍♂️ I only had backers to 600 yards and then to 1k. I was shooting up a few degree slope but not such an extreme angle I would shoot high.

I know the dope for my rifle is the dope for my rifle, but I was surprised.

I'd love to waste a day on the range with that. How well did the PMC shoot?
I’d say 2 moa. The few rounds of Igman milsurp I shot were a little better. I was using an IDPA cardboard target (which was large but all brown so I couldn’t easily see my hits past 500.)

The M107 supposedly can do 1 moa with Hornady A max and a good can on it, but I’m hesitant to pay twice the price for ammo. I’m in the verge of reloading and bought some Barnes monolithic bullets and A max, so hopefully even better results.

You’d think they’d have a better trigger in these rifles for what they want for them.

But, it’s technically an anti-material round, and I can hit way better than minute o car lol.
