Above is just a fancy and portable polling tower kit. I can set up similar system with radios from handitalkies to full power ham repeaters. I have comms covered well enough not really worried. Was able to pick up two more Icom ID-51 D-Star HTs last week just had to copy my programmed data for frequencies onto a pair of SD cards, slide in radios and we are up to at least eight UHF/VHF analog/digital handhelds with internal modifications that if a small team is using them their only worry would be government agencies or military actively worried about you. I tripped over a downloadable e-book over on the dark web that has devices from all sorts of sources including a lot of Ukrainian gadgets that I now have but its really no way I would post link (your either a dark web user or need to stay well away) and this information needs to be kept on its server where people who have permission to access and the public key to decrypt it being the only people to know some of it. Some devices do not need to land on TikTok, Instructables or YouTube.
Tested a new perimeter security device that denies access to a 360° area for about fifty yards in all directions. Looks like an octopus with eight tubes which each holds a 3.5" 00 buckshot shell. Not hard to imagine its possibilities and can set it up where fires 90°, 180°, 270° or 360° pattern based on how and where triggered. Would be just as easy to build in ten gauge or any size shotshell firing slugs, duplex, buck & ball, birdshot, BBs or whatever. The concept anyone with a cheap welder could build its just how complicated you want to set up triggering options or make it easy and just load tubes aimed in direction(s) your concerned about. It is downright ugly, can be mostly buried then some leaves or light brush concealing it and it cleared a big circle of brush and small trees that actually surprised me.
Found an ammo can forgot I had with eight total one pound cans of 4F black powder and 4F actually worries me to play with. If its contained in pressure vessel when it pops its scary. Most times only use 4F for a priming charge for cannon powder, 2F for a lifting charge in a Bouncing Betty type toy that uses 3F for the cannister once launched. Black powder toys that are not autonomous but set off by an operator in safe environment is grey enough area unless spread a dozen around a public venue just popping one on occasion I doubt will get a person in real trouble. It's setting that remote trip wire or other detenator(s) operator has no control once sets and walks away and actually leaves unattended that will land one in the grey bar hotel. Device tested today is really not much more legally than holding a twelve gauge coach gun in each hand and having the @$$ in your pants to activate all four triggers at same time. Was watching a show on Military Channel showing latest land mine technology and my mind said "a couple hours with welder and some springs along with other hardware and what uncle sugar is likely paying four figures each for can be built out of stuff from my scrap pile. Now do I torch it or just sit it with the mortars and black powder cannon. Would not be horribly complicated to build firing mechanism to be radio controlled using a Raspberry Pi.
